First did you see the pictures I posted of our adventures down here in Alabama so far? Check my Facebook page if you want to see some super cute dolphin photos!
Our vacation is going great so far. Except for the sunburn!!! AHHHH! I am not an idiot. I put on sunscreen four times today but all I brought was a bottle of SPF 15 which is what I use at home and it works fine. Clearly that is not strong enough for the Alabama sun. Rats.
Anyway, I wanted to take just a few minutes to share some of the fun ideas I have found lately on Pinterest!
Love this super cute bird nest craft. I have a few books on robins at home that I have been saving to read with Sam and I think this craft will be a perfect fit for these books.
We have made bird feeder ornaments before but I these bird treats caught my eye! They looked better than the ones that we made and when I went to check out the site the tutorial was really good. We don't have corn syrup at home and I don't really like to buy that so I am wondering if I could try to substitute something else, but we will see!
You know me and toilet paper tubes so when I saw these apple trees I just had to save the idea. We will for sure be going apple picking this Fall so this will be a great activity to go with that field trip. I think it will be fun to make the trees and practice counting while we put the apples on!
Do you have a music wall? I have seen a bunch of them that use recycled materials and I think those are GREAT! But if you want a more polished and matching looking version I think this is a great way to do that. I just love the idea of bringing music outside, and what kid wouldn't love to make noise and be playing outside!
I would love to use the underneath area of our deck as a kid play area. We have our mud kitchen under there but I think most of it is wasted space. I saw this idea and think this is AWESOME! I love the idea of taking this space and really making it kid friendly. So fun looking!
Okay, off to get ready for more Alabama fun! Anyone know a great remedy for sunburn? HA!
