Missouri Botanical Garden is an AMAZING spot in St. Louis, MO if you ever get the chance to visit. It is a favorite spot to visit almost everytime we come to town.
Today we headed there with all the kids and even in the heat it was a great time.
They have an extreme treehouse exhibit on display there and the kids could not wait to check them all out. Each one so different and so inviting for kids.
The bee hives were a point of interest. It was neat talking with my oldest niece about why these bees were not in round hives like you see in books.
But feeding the fish was the big hit of the garden.
The kids also got to play in the fountains and climb all over the children's garden play structures that they have.
It was a great day full of learning, exploring and family fun!

The Nitty Gritty!
More family fun planned for the next few days. Do you get to plan fun outings and have adventures with your family?
You guys are SO brave...I'm dying to get there, but I'm waiting for the heat to die down.
On a totally unrelated note--I had NO IDEA your hair was curly like Jodie's! I guess I've always seen it straight in pictures? Shocker. But SO cute!

This looks so fun - the fish are really hungry, huh? I would love to visit a place such as this. Really impressive.
We have tons of adventures. I write all about them on our blog.

Yes! I have a story play table - low coffee table - which I set up with props (puppets, soft toys, plastic animals , found objects, sedpods etc whatever fits the story)and a book - often a predictable one or one that the children are already familiar with - it's one of the most used areas at my kinder - stories that can be told not just read are magic.
