Two of them. One of me. Three miles of trail. Yikes!
But we had a great time and both girls were really good.
Climbing rocks was a bit hit today.
And we were on the look out for homes today. This hollowed out tree looked like a great home for squirrels or chipmunks.
I am slightly obsessed with mushrooms even though I know nothing about them. The way they grow and the patterns that they have on them are just so fascinating to me.
And signs of spring were every where!
And I love moments like this...
We ended the hike at the lake. The girls loved looking for ducks, attempting to feed them and playing around the rocks.
It was a great morning! I survived being outnumbered. The only challenge came when Sam had to go potty. No bathrooms were open yet for the season so we had to do an outdoor potty stop. This requires me picking her up in a way that keeps pee from landing on any of us. With Avery on my back and Sam in my arms I almost fell over several times during the potty stop which could have been disastorous. But we handled it.
Loved having the adventure just me and the girls but we did miss having daddy there to run and climb on things with Sam.

You brave mama! Great work! With more experience, you'll be an old pro at trouble shooting, too!
