Not much to say after a GREAT day with family. Take a look at what we did today!
The two big girls exploring the big chunk of ice lead to the accidental creation of an ice slide!
Seeing four little kids (Avery rode in the backpack the whole time so she doesn't really count) run around and throw themselves down into the snow over and over again on the lake was so fun. And when they created that slide, with extremely slippery ice, we all laughed so hard as EVERYONE kept falling down!

The Nitty Gritty!
Again not much to say.
Please don't let cold temperatures discourage you from heading outside and exploring with your kids. There are amazing things to be discovered and lots of fun to be had in the cold!
This looks like loads of fun!

Thank you for that nitty gritty reminder! Just yesterday, I was worrying because my boys had football and soccer games and for Florida, it was cold -- 40 degrees or so. But I bundled up well in layers and it wasn't so bad, so I know how to handle the weather a little better now.
I know 40 degrees is NOTHING for people where it snows, lol, but we're just not used to the cold!
