I have mentioned before that I work for the Aldo Leopold Nature Center. I am just a part time naturalist but right now it is my outlet for working with kids and doing in the field environmental education.
This place is fantastic. Right in Monona, WI and just down the street for downtown Madison it has several different habitats for kids to explore and does some great programming! Right now the nature center is growing in full force hoping to open its new climate change center this spring/summer.
I wanted share with all my faithful readers an opportunity to help out this amazing organization.
"Give a wonderful surprise this holiday season that is sure to bring smiles to your little one and will help the Aldo Leopold Nature Center meet its year end financial goal!"
From noon today, Tuesday, December 14, until noon on Wednesday, December 22, ALNC is hosting an online auction of three exclusive limited editions of Lanie, the featured American Girl Doll of the Year. All proceeds will benefit children’s programming at ALNC.
