Met up with a Madison blogger yesterday to meet and let our little ones play. So fun to meet a fellow blogger in real life! We had really good conversations and the kids played great together. She knits some amazing things and has a really fun blog about her projects. You can check Melissa out here.
While we were together she told me about a video she had seen and then later sent me the link. Oh how I wish my girls could have this kind of experience.
This is a LONG video but take some time and watch it. AMAZING! Wish U.S. would catch on to this kind of learning environments. What these little kids accomplish at the end of the video is incredible! Do you think your five year old could do that?
This is why I want my girls to start hiking NOW! We will do that with little ones!!!!
I'd pack up and move to Ireland in a heartbeat! :)

INcredible! Don't get me started about all the lip service people give to the importance of education and then do nothing to support real education. Way to go with your girls!
Peace, Angela

Quite honestly, I don't think I'm up to hiking with 5 year olds. I think they'd whip my butt.

We have preschool forest schools over here in the UK, where the philosophy is that there is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes. A really fun way to learn and grow.
