I got a great package a week ago from a fellow blogger (blogged about it here) and today we got creative with some of the contents!
A quick trip to Michaels, a hot glue gun and we got started.
So, yes we had to start with an already constructed house; not quite ready to try a fairy house from scratch. But we did add our own natural touch to the house and the little people!
You might be able to tell from the symmetry that I had a little bit to do with the placement of some items. (I got way more into decorating this house than should be allowed!).
And the little people!
Aren't their hats adorable!!? Love them!
Sam played with this for much of the afternoon and had all her animals coming in and out of the little house.
Thank you Mamma Rae for the amazing gifts!

The Nitty Gritty!
We didn't get the house finished. Sam really wants to cover the whole thing in acorn caps and pine cones. We ran out of Avery free crafting time this afternoon. Gotta love those days when she doesn't nap!
You may have noticed no alphabet activity today. Yeah, I didn't survive the theme week. Her interest seems to have wained in letter recognition. I may have pushed too hard. I don't know. But either way I read her cues and just gave up. Sorry.
One more thing...my husband is heading out of town on a business trip tomorrow for five days. Not excited to be on my own but we will survive. However since all of my energy will be taken up with just making sure I don't kill my girls my activities this weekend and upcoming week may not be earth shattering! Hope you will stick around and still read my little blog this week. I may need the moral support!
adorable! I want to find some peg dolls but none of my stores carry them I might have to find them elsewhere!
Hope you do fine next week. I bet you will!!!

What a beautiful project - it takes me back to when my daughter was a toddler. She used to love things like that. I adored your wooden alphabet letters too; you're so creative!
