Have you heard about the giveaway this week? If not check back to day 44 to read all the details of what is going on!
SO I am posting this from out of town and of course forgot to bring my own computer which has all the pictures on it. Darn it! This means I don't have any of the cute pictures of Sam and I playing with the prizes to show you. But I will probably come back next week and post them if you are interested. Otherwise I will have the links to the prizes below so you can check them out.
Anyway, one of the prizes is Acorn Naturalists Preschool Memory Game. We have several other versions of memory at our house but neither of those worked as well as this one! They are either 1) not age appropriate or 2) the cards are so flimsy that after playing with it only a few times they are falling apart. This one is both age appropriate for Sam (even though the box says 3+ she played it perfectly and LOVED it) and the cards are a really thick board material. The pictures are simple but colorful and very cute. We played for quite a long time! This is a must have if your child likes to play games.
The last prize is one of my favorites!! It is the Fandex Bug Guide . This is a simple but VERY informative version of a bug identification book. Instead of being in book form the "pages" fan out. It is a bit difficult for Sam's little hands to fold the pages back together in the right order but the pictures are SO amazing that I just help her with how to work it. There is a ton of information on each side of the bug pages and big pictures that depict the bugs perfectly, showing off every detail. For younger kids this is great because the big, bright pictures make it very easy for them to match a bug to the right picture and for older kids there is a lot more information for them to learn. A win-win for any age!
This is a very boring way to tell you about this great prizes and I am kicking myself that I don't have the pictures to show you. So please go visit the website and check out the pictures there.
If you haven't read Day 44 about the giveaway be sure to go back and get all the details. But the basics are that there are three items being combined into ONE prize; the two listed above and the stacking blocks that I described on Day 46. I am super excited about this prize because there is something for every age child! To get a chance to win simply leave a comment on a guest blogger's post (one comment per guest blogger). Each comment equals one chance to win. If you want another chance to win go check out the Acorn Naturalist website and then come back here and leave me a comment telling me one thing that you liked!
Okay, GO READ AND COMMENT!

Isn't that funny, how we forget things like that when we travel. I have left shoes behind.;)

I have checked out the site...they have such great things. My favorite is the Memory Game though. Memory is a big hit at our house and these look fantastic. It would be nice to play without something that has dora or princesses on it! :)

I already told you what I liked but now I am so interested in that Memory Game! I think that looks REALLY cool!

Charlie would be so excited to work with these products. He tends to "stomp" on any bug, and I'm working on telling him that all creatures have a purpose, and we shouldn't kill any of them - even if they are scary looking. He's at a great age for the memory game. He'd probably beat me at it!!

We really could've used the bug guide this last week. We were camping at Wyalusing with my little guy and he is starting to identify and "name" things.

The loupes and magnifying glasses look awesome. We're fascinated with our backyard bugs, and these would be great for "taking a closer look." :)

I think my favorite item is the set of stacking blocks you showed earlier. Such great illustrations and information - and who doesn't like to knock down a good tower?
