We still have apples on the brain and Sam is still talking about the apple orchard so I thought it might be good to do a craft that could help us remember all the things we saw at the orchard.
Super simple.
Large craft paper, green construction paper, red tissue paper, glue, scissors and brown markers is all we used. You get the idea of what we did but the learning part of this was talking to Sam and Avery as we did it. What do they remember seeing? Where were the apples (which is why there are some on the ground as well!)? What animals did we see? What insects did we see? and many more questions.
The girls had a great time making this big orchard and it was good to see them remember our trip and talk about it with me.

The Nitty Gritty!
We didn't have sand paper or even brown construction paper but if I did I would have loved to try out this great apple tree craft.
